I’m looking for a good story about the birth of Jesus for Christmas for my kids on Christmas eve. Any ideas?
We read Twas the Night Before Christmas every year, but this year they are all old enough to start understanding the deeper meaning. We aren’t super religious, and don’t normally go to church, but I would like to intruduce them to the true Christmas. Any ideas of storybooks that tell the story of Mary, Joseph, Jesus, etc.?
I realize the Bible is the best, and most firsthand, story. I was just wondering if there was something more “kid-friendly” language wise, and such, that would tell the same story.
Try Walden Books Kids. They have a lot of great books. Or try your local religious book store, they’re bound to have a few. Or if you’re kids are old enough to understand it, read them the actual story in the Bible.
